Defence

AFCAT : This is an All India level defence recruitment exam to select candidates for Air force. AFCAT is held twice a year, for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent/ Short Service Commission in Technical and Ground Duty Branches through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 
UPSC CDS: The Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) is another defence recruitment all India level entrance exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The exam is held twice a year for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Officers Training Academy (OTA), Indian Naval Academy (INA) and Indian Air Force (IAF) Academy.

Medical

NEET: The National Eligibility- cum- Entrance Test (NEET-PG) is an all India level entrance exam for graduate students who wish to study postgraduate medical course (MD/ MS) in government or private medical colleges of India. It is conducted by the NATBOARD.
JIPMER PG Medical Entrance Exam: Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) PG Entrance Exam is conducted for admission to MD / MS course. This medical entrance exam is conducted once in a year.

MBA

Common Admission Test (CAT): Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) every year. It is an all India level entrance exam for admission to the Post-graduate and Fellow Programmes in the management courses offered by the IIMs as well as many management institutes all across the country. The CAT percentage differs from college to college.
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT): Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is conducted for admission to all management programmes approved by AICTE and it is an all-India level entrance exam held once in a year. CMAT is also conducted by AICTE in foreign countries for NRIs/PIOs and foreign nationals seeking admission in B- Schools in India.
Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT): Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is conducted by Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI) for admissions in management courses of different management colleges all across India.
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT): Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) conducts an entrance exam for graduates held by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade for their institutes in New Delhi and Kolkata. See IIFT Entrance Exam
Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP): Symbiosis National Aptitude ( SNAP) Test is a common entrance test for admission to all the institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed) University. >> See SNAP Test
NMAT: NMAT entrance test is conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council for admission to all the management courses of NMIMS Mumbai and the PGDM courses of NMIMS Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Management Aptitude Test (MAT): Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is conducted by All India Management Aptitude Testing Service (AIMATS) on quarterly basis for admission to MBA programmes in various  participating management colleges.
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET): MH-CET is conducted for graduates seeking admissions in MBA/MMS and PGDBM/PGDM in Government University Departments, University managed and unaided institutes in the state of Maharashtra.
IBSAT: IBSAT is an online entrance test for graduates seeking admission in the nine Indian Business Schools at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Dehradun, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Pune. The test is conducted in 100 Test Centres across India.
ATMA: AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is an MBA Entrance Exam in India. The exam is conducted by the Association of Indian Management School for PGDM/ MBA/ MCA/ PGCM courses. Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India approves this exam for various post graduate management courses.

For overseas Universities

Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT): GMAT, a computer-based entrance exam for admissions in more than 2100 foreign universities. It is a registered trademark of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). It is the selection criteria for admission into different graduate management programmes, including MBA, Master of Finance programmes, Master of Accountancy abroad.
Graduate Record Examinations (GRE): GRE is conducted for graduates seeking admission in various business schools situated in the US and other countries. The test is conducted and managed by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) in more than 700 centres in over 160 countries.

For MTech and ME

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE): GATE is jointly conducted by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology. It is a national level entrance examination for admissions in MTech and ME courses in different colleges.
Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM): IIT JAM is conducted on an all-India level by Indian Institutes of Technology and Indian Institute of Science for admission to M.Sc., Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. and other post-graduate degree programmes at the IITs and also the integrated Ph.D. programmes at IISc.

For Government Jobs

Civil Services Examination (CSE): A nationwide competitive examination CSE is conducted for graduates by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment to Civil Services in Government of India including  Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Revenue Service (IRS).
Indian Economic Service Examination (IES): IES is an administrative civil service examination for graduates with Economics/Statistics that includes Grade A of the Central Civil Services of the executive branch of the Government of India.
Indian Statistical Service Examination (ISS): ISS is another examination for Statistics/Mathematics/Economics graduates to get recruited as Grade IV officers of the services of Indian Statistic.

Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR): ICAR is an entrance exam that a science graduate can appear seeking admission in post-graduation in agriculture related studies in Indian Universities.

For Banking Jobs

SBI PO Exams: State Bank of India conducts this exam for the recruitment of Probationary officers (PO). Candidates graduated from any stream can appear for this exam.
IBPS PO/Management Trainee Exams: IBPS PO CWE is a national level Bank PO exam conducted by the Institute of Bank Personnel Selection (IBPS) for hiring PO and MT in public sector banks.
IBPS Clerk Exams: This clerical entrance exam is conducted for recruitment of clerks in public and private sector banks, except SBI.
National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD): NABARD conducts this admission exam for graduates seeking positions as Development Officers and others in the bank.
RBI Grade A and Grade B Exams:   An entrance exam for graduates conducted by the Reserve Bank of India to recruit Grade A and B officers.
ICICI PO Exams: ICICI Bank PO exams is for Indian Nationals for appointment of Probationary Officer. ICICI Bank Probationary Officers Recruitment includes one-year training programme on selection.

SSC Combined Graduate Level Exams: SSC is a Short Service Commission Combined Graduate Level Exams for graduates from any recognised university. Candidates with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics degree as a compulsory subject or elective subject are eligible. If qualified, a candidate can recruited as Sub-inspector, Tax assistants, Auditor offices, Accountant, and other assistant level positions
Railway jobs test: This an exam conducted by Indian Railways for graduates seeking jobs of ticket examiner, clerk, non-technical posts, Group C and Group D departments etc.
